Labor Day Weekend

a good friend of mine came and visited me during Labor Day Weekend. we had such a good time - we covered a lot of ground in a few short days. it was jam-packed and thoroughly enjoyable. and here are some pics of our lunch at Chatham (Cape Cod):

Pad Thai dinner

i finally got around to fulfilling my promise of making Pad Thai for a friend. it turned out quite nicely as you can see. we had a good time. and future cooking plans? chestnut cake!
